Right from birth rather while in the womb itself everyone around keeps blessing the mother that a boy baby should be born. Inferiority begins right in the womb if the pregnant mother is continuously demanded for a boy baby.
Women aren't responsible for the gender of the baby.
At the age of puberty, we are taunted for reaching the puberty too early or questioned if late.
Let our body decide when the cycle should start not when the people think it's the right age.
Even after that, for every period, ayyo you got your periods we can't go anywhere. Don't touch that. Don't go here. Take postpone tablets.
Why should a woman take tablets to postpone something that's happening so naturally to her?
Isn't period a part of her body? Discrimination based on periods is a disrespect to her being a woman.
When a man walks shirtless with hair all over nobody questions but when a woman has little hair around her upper lips or chin or side locks she becomes manly and ugly.
It was not her choice to grow it but her harmones.
Our choice of stream, area of study is checked if there are women doing that course or not.
How many girls had to give up on mechanical engineering etc. because everyone told them it's not a course that girls can do.
Woman have set examples and are proving that they can stand on par with men. They just need a little encouragement and ofcourse the bad mouths shut.
You have enough wealth why work? You can eat and enjoy throughout your life.
Should woman be always addressed as someone's daughter, wife, mother etc.
Doesn't she need her own identity and financial independence?
Broker or the matrimonial agent filters the matches by judging us and will decide whom we might agree or not.
Then families decide depending on the person they think we are and the personality portrayed in 1 or 2 meets by the to-be-groom.
But we spend the rest of our lives with the choice made by others.
Spend lavishly on the weddings and then say your life you save it which at times will end up in a divorce.
Everyday after wedding woman are asked when are they getting pregnant. Isn't it something very personal?
Have a baby early, they say you're too fast, wait for a few years then you don't have the capacity of bearing a child. Must be some health problem.
Even when a man has a problem, woman are blamed for not bearing a child.
Pls ask the men too.
The type of delivery decides the activeness of the pregnant woman. For making the baby born on an auspicious day, woman are either manipulated or forced to opt for C section which is supposed to be only a saviour during medical emergency. C section it's a major surgery and why should a woman suffer life long and the baby miss out on an opportunity of passing through the natural canal of the mother? It's a loss for both the baby and the mother. Multiple c sections for satisfying everyone's desires could cause a rupture in the uterus of the mother. This is so dangerous.
Let the mother's body decide the type of delivery. Doctors are always there to listen and respect ones decision.
Career after baby is a dream. Fathers can go out, eat anything, meet people, fulfill all their dreams and most importantly sleep peacefully. Fathers are never asked to even change diapers. They say it's a dirty job and I'm not used to it.
Were mothers trained before having babies? Were they cleaning toilets of all houses before bearing a child?
How many of us get a comfortable environment to breast feed? At public places?
If the baby falls, blame the mother.
If the baby falls sick, blame the mother.
Why have Copper T or other foreign objects inside a woman's body when a man can use protection? For a man's laziness why should a woman's body be harmed?It's so easy for a man to ask a woman to use emergency contraceptive. It's for emergency not a daily vitamin supplement. Blame the woman again for her getting pregnant?
Woman are easy targets for everyone.
There are protests if there are reservations for woman. We want woman for all the odd jobs, to take care of the house, work outside but not RULE.
Is it that the woman are looked down upon or is there a sense of fear that they can handle things like men or better than them?
How many of us women have the real freedom to choose what we want to do?
